Inclusion Criteria
- candidate to elective abdominal surgery
- hospitalized malnourished patients (BMI ≤ 20 Kg/m2, loss of body weight ≥ 10% unintentional, or serum albumin <3.5 g/dL)
- ability to perform all evaluations and training
