The purpose of this trial is to determine the safety and effectiveness of the Edwards SAPIEN XT transcatheter heart valve and delivery systems which are intended for use in patients with symptomatic, calcific, severe aortic stenosis.
The VANTAGE clinical trial will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Navitor valve in patients with severe, symptomatic aortic stenosis who are at intermediate or low risk of surgical mortality. This trial will also evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Navitor valve in a valve-in-valve application.
The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the acute safety and effectiveness of the next-generation Portico™ NG Transcatheter Aortic Heart Valve as assessed by the rate of all-cause mortality at 30 days and the rate of moderate or greater paravalvular leak at 30 days in a high or extreme surgical risk patient population to support CE (Conformité Européenne) Mark and FDA approval.
