3 active trials for Wide Neck Bifurcation Intracranial Aneurysms
The WEB-IT Clinical Study
The study is a prospective, multicenter single-arm cohort. Patients with wide neck bifurcation aneurysms (WNBAs) have few choices for safe and effective endovascular treatment. In this study, all patients with qualifying WNBAs will be treated with the WEB. The primary effectiveness outcome of the study is the likelihood of complete intracranial aneurysm occlusion on the 1 year angiogram as adjudicated by a core laboratory.Memphis, TennesseeStart: August 2014
Post Approval Study - Evaluate the Long-Term Safety and Effectiveness of the WEB Device
A prospective, multicenter, single arm, interventional study. The target patient population for this study are adult subjects with WNBAs of the anterior and posterior intracranial circulation. The primary effectiveness outcome of the study is adequate intracranial aneurysm occlusion on the 1 year angiogram as adjudicated by a core laboratory.Start: August 2021
The WEB®-IT China Clinical Study
This trial is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm confirmatory clinical trial. The study is to confirm the safety and effectiveness of the WEB Aneurysm Embolization System demonstrated in the US WEB-IT Study for the treatment of intracranial wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms. The study's primary endpoints include a primary effectiveness endpoint and a primary safety endpoint. The study device must meet both endpoints. The primary effectiveness endpoint is adjudicated by an independent third party core lab.Chengdu, SichuanStart: June 2017
